Vanessa completed her Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1990 at Birmingham Dental Hospital. She also completed the Certificate in Dental Health Education in 1993. Her previous experience includes working as a dental nurse and patient educator in England. In 2005, Vanessa moved to Adelaide after meeting her husband. She has been working as dental receptionist and nurse in Adelaide for last 8 years.
Vanessa lives with her husband and two boys. She takes great pride in being involved in athletic coaching for children.
Ingle Farm lies twelve kilometres to the northeast of the South Australia state capital of Adelaide, at the foot of the Mount Lofty ranges. Primarily a residential suburb, the area was first settled by James Rowe in the 1830s. It is now a thriving community featuring numerous sports fields and community centres.
